JBM's Common Message Processor© (CMP) is a user-friendly Java®application that provides the capability to process formatted military messages.

Widely used throughout the
United States Department of Defense (DoD) and available for international
use, CMP provides a bridge between tactical, email, legacy and web-enabled
users. CMP combines parsing, validating, journaling, generating and editing
capabilities essential in the processing of military standard (MIL-STD)
message baselines, offering processing capabilities for the suite of the supported message baselines.
Recognized as the message editor processor for the United States Department of Defense (DOD) community, CMP is:
- Integrated with government systems and commercial
applications to include Command Post of the Future
(CPOF), Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), MS
Outlook®, MS Exchange®, and service address books.
- Independently validated
by Conformance to Standards (CTS) testing under the
direction of the Joint Interoperability Test Command
(JITC)
- Able to process many versions of
different message baselines, including MIL-STD-6040 (USMTF), MIL-STD-6017 (VMF), and AdatP3
- Interoperable and meets backward compatibility formatted messaging requirements.
